Youth &
Teens > Ages 3-5 Old

There is never
a better time in a child's life than during these preschool years.
We never develop as fast, gain more skills and learn more behaviors
that will follow us through life. We absorb like a sponge at this
age! If we want youth to grow up enjoying exercise and good health,
this is the age to begin. The YMCA has developed a variety of programs
to introduce youth to sports for all types of interests. Each sport
is taught by trained, young coaches, often recruited from local
sports teams. The instructions will help form good fundamental habits
at an early age to benefit their future participation in sports.
