A week at Camp Lolek..
The YMCA of Glendale's Camp Fox on Catalina Island has been a fun and exciting summer adventure since 1926! Now we have added 2 new mountain mini summer camp adventures for 2020 Camp Lolek, a beautiful forest camp. It is located in the Wrightwood Mountains adjacent to the Angeles National Forest just a 1 1/2 hour bus ride from Glendale.
Many activities await you such as: a large Swimming Pool, Archery, Hiking, Basketball, Soccer, Lateral Climbing Wall, Low Ropes Challenge Course, Volleyball, Crafts, Ping Pong, many table and special field games, Nature Study, Nightly Camp Fires with Skits and Songs plus a blend of special daily fun activities for all age levels.
During this life-changing experience, youth learn to apply what their parents have taught them, make individual and group decisions, and try new things, all while in a positive environment lead by our trained counselors and directors! With countless leadership and team-building activities, there is something for everyone! What a great way to spend a week of your summer; making lasting memories and life-long friends!
This new camp will be led by Directors and Leaders with Camp Fox experience.
