The YMCA of Glendale is pleased to offer the SilverSneakers® Fitness Program. SilverSneakers is the nation’s leading exercise program designed exclusively for older adults and is available at no additional cost to eligible Medicare health plan. Eligible members have a complimentary membership to the Glendale YMCA. To find out if you are eligible for SilverSneakers, please contact the Y or visit www.silversneakers.com.

Yes. Renew Active is the new name for Optum Fitness Advantage. Renew Active provides eligible members with access to any YMCA at no cost. Plan holders of eligible Medicare Advantage Plans insured by United Healthcare Insurance can use the Renew Active program. Plan holders of eligible Medicare Supplement Plans insured by United Healthcare Insurance can use the Renew Active program at a lower cost. Eligible members can use all the services that are part of a standard Y membership.

Yes. We are now accepting credits as a member of the FitOn (formerly known as Peerfit) network! Absolutely. The Y is for everyone! We offer affordable rates for both memberships and programs based on household income.

Definitely not! We offer month-to-month memberships. Plus, you can cancel anytime. To cancel your membership, simply email us at membershipteam@glenymca.org or stop by our branch at least 30 days prior to your billing date to avoid any additional fees.
