Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, you must be a YMCA member to participate in our scheduled classes and programs.

Membership grants you access to all group fitness classes, specialty sports programs, open court time, and wellness facilities.

You can either call the front desk at 818-240-4130 or visit them in person to reserve the court. Reservations can only be up to 48 hours in advance and can be reserved up to 1 time a day for up to 1 hour per player. If you are more than 10 minutes late to a reservation, the reservation is forfeited, the court is available on first-come first-serve basis.

It is recommended to have your own equipment, but the front desk does have racquets and balls to lend out.

Yes, you can play recreational squash on our racquetball courts, but the court dimensions and wall lines are different from a regulation squash court.

  • Court Size: A standard racquetball court is longer, wider, and taller than a standard singles squash court.

  • Markings: Our courts feature standard racquetball boundary lines. They do not have the specific lower wall line, tin line, or back-wall out-of-bounds lines used in official squash matches.

  • Gameplay: While not suited for tournament or official play, members are welcome to use the courts for casual practice, solo ball-striking drills, or recreational squash matches using squash racquets and balls.
