Gifts by personal check, cashier’s check, or money order should be made payable to the YMCA of Glendale. Please include a note telling us if your gift should go to the greatest need or a specific branch.

If you are 70½ or older, you can make a charitable gift directly from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA) to the YMCA. This type of gift, known as a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD), is a smart way to support your community while reducing your taxable income.

A QCD counts toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) but is not subject to federal income tax, making it one of the most tax-efficient ways to give.
